
Shannon Marie Robinson
Shannon supports Design and History of Art research and instruction needs as well as providing reference services. She has a MFA from Tyler School of Art, Temple University and her MLIS from Drexel University. Prior to coming to Penn, Shannon was the Librarian for Media Arts & Design at Drexel University. She taught at Tyler School of Art, was the Access Services Librarian at The University of the Arts, and the Fine Arts Liaison Librarian at Denison University. Her research interests include the information behaviors of artists and designers and the application of arts-based research and speculative design methodologies to library science. She is continually active in the art librarianship profession through conference presentations, journal publications and book reviews, and serving on various local and national committees.
