In her role as Communication Librarian, Sharon helps students, faculty, and the wider community to identify, evaluate, and use resources in support of the curriculum at Penn's Annenberg School. She offers one-on-one and group research instruction, and works to make the Annenberg Library a welcoming space for individual and collaborative learning.
Sharon holds a BA in English from Gettysburg College, and an MS in Library and Information Science from Drexel University. She is the author of several publications related to communications librarianship. In her spare time she teaches decision skills to prisoners at the George W. Hill Correctional Facility.
