Lyra Boone

Lyra researches, configures, and sets up the newest technologies in the Biotech Commons. They also help develop workflows, training materials, and documentation for the new equipment and coordinate its initial projects.

Before coming to the Penn Libraries, Lyra produced digital education content for the Jefferson Patterson Park and Museum. Previously, they offered 3D printing and 3D scanning services at the University of Alaska Museum of the North.

Lyra earned their BA in Computer Art with a minor in Paleontology and an AAS in Information Technology with a concentration in Cybersecurity from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
