Avery Aghazarian King

Avery manages the mailroom at Van Pelt-Dietrich Library Center and supports Penn Libraries' interlibrary loan and book delivery services.

Before coming to Penn, Avery was at Drexel University Libraries, where they served as part of the Client Access Experience team, which included front desk and student worker management. At the same time, they served as a member of the Course Reserves team (which included scanning, video streaming, and physical processing) and of the Resource Sharing team (ILL borrowing and lending). As a student, Avery worked in Bryn Mawr College Library Acquisitions. Since then, they have held positions at both academic and public libraries, with work ranging from circulation to cataloging

Avery holds a BA in Linguistics and Spanish from Bryn Mawr College.
