Woodlands Walk with Nurses Tour

Join the Barbara Bates Center for the Study of the History of Nursing, Penn Libraries, and The Woodlands for a Nurses’ Week celebration. Located less than a mile from the Bates Center and Fagin Hall, The Woodlands cemetery is the final resting place for some of Philadelphia’s most influential nurses.

Join us for a walking tour through The Woodlands' hauntingly beautiful grounds, learn about the lives of some of Penn’s most influential nurses and their relationship to Penn Nursing, and honor the work of nurses both past and present. Afterwards, participants are invited to a small reception in The Woodlands' beautiful 18th century Hamilton Mansion. Registration is required, spots are limited.
