Access to the College Green area of campus will be restricted until further notice. Current students, faculty, and staff with a valid Penn card, as well as Alumni Weekend attendees with name badges, may enter and exit Van Pelt-Dietrich Library Center through the Rosengarten Undergraduate Study Center on the ground floor, and may enter and exit the Fisher Fine Arts Library through the 34th Street entrance to Meyerson Hall. LKCAJS Open stacks

Stacks at the Library at the Katz CAJS are divided into open and closed collections:

Open collections

  • The 2nd floor Reading Room
    Contains books designated REF, i.e. encyclopedias, dictionaries, basic texts, bibliographies and other reference books, current journals and newspapers, as well as current periodicals designated GAL.
  • The 3rd Floor Gallery
    Includes past issues of selected bound serials, indexes, and the proceedings of the World Congress of Jewish Studies. All these are also designated GAL.
