Lost and Found Policy

Van Pelt-Dietrich Library Center Lost and Found

Lost items are turned in to the library door guard at the main entrance. The guard station can be reached by phone at 215-898-5444. Items are kept for two weeks, after which they will be donated to a local charity.

Biotech Commons Lost and Found

Library users are asked to turn in any "lost" items they find to the Circulation Desk. Library staff will call users if enough identifying information is on the item.

Lost PennCards are held for one day. If not retrieved, PennCards are returned to the PennCard Center.

Fine Arts Library Lost and Found

Library users are asked to turn in any "lost" items they find to the Circulation Desk. Library staff will contact users if enough identifying information is included with the item. Items are kept in the lost and found for two weeks, after which they will be donated.

Items cleared from the food cabinet after the library is closed are immediately discarded or donated, not added to lost and found.

Lost PennCards are held for one day. If not retrieved, PennCards are returned to the PennCard Center.
