Conduct in Libraries

Penn’s library facilities serve the information access, research, teaching, and learning needs of students, faculty, staff, and external communities with scholarly interests. These services require courtesy and decorum on the part of all visitors. The Libraries asks visitors to abide by Penn’s Guidelines on Open Expression, the Code of Student Conduct, and related community standards, and refrain from actions that obstruct the effective provision and use of library services and undermine the rights and welfare of other persons. Failure to comply with this policy may result in the denial or forfeiture of facilities privileges.
