The Penn Libraries has launched a number of essential services to re-connect Penn faculty, students and staff with our physical collections. See the FAQ below for details.

We also continue to develop and enhance services to support remote teaching, research, and learning. Please see our Virtual Support page for information on accessing digital content, collaborating with research partners, and directly consulting with librarians.

Important Note: At every point the safety of our staff and our users is our top priority. At this time all Penn Libraries buildings remain closed, in-person events are cancelled until further notice, and access to library facilities beyond the PickUp@Penn area of Van Pelt-Dietrich Library Center is limited to a small number of library staff. All services are subject to change; revisions will be made as necessary with guidance from the University of Pennsylvania, city and state officials, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
