The Black Panther (Newspaper)
The Black Panther was published in Oakland, California by the Black Panther Party Ministry of Information between 1967-1980, either weekly or monthly. Holdings in the Kislak Center date from May 4, 1968 through January 29, 1977. There are gaps in the collection, although the years between 1971 and 1976 are well represented.
Black Panther Party Ephemera
The Kislak Center has also acquired ephemeral printed documents related to the Party and to controversies surrounding it, particularly connected with Philadelphia.
