Collection Overview

Holman Biotech Commons supports the Neurosurgical department in its clinical and education mission with two very niche products. Thieme, one of the main publishers for neurosurgery, has developed a portal for neurosurgery related material. Med-One Neurosurgery includes ebooks, ejournals, cases and board review material. It also has a large collection of surgical videos and images.

Additionally, we have the Neurosurgical Atlas, a long-time reference source and considered the most comprehensive resource for neurosurgical techniques. It’s collection of operative videos that can be used to refresh or learn surgical skills. It also contains a 3D atlas of the skull and brain.

AccessNeurology, a McGraw-Hill product, is another portal type resource that offers ebooks, neuroanatomy tools, board review and multimedia.
