5/10/24: Due to police activity on the College Green, access to Van Pelt-Dietrich Library Center is currently restricted. Current students, faculty and staff with a valid Penn card are permitted to enter and exit through the Rosengarten Undergraduate Study Center on the ground floor.

Hilda A. Wurtman Memorial Fund

This fund was established in 1986 through a bequest from Samuel R. Wurtman, College 1930, Law 1933, to purchase books, recordings, and scores for the Otto E. Albrecht Music Library.

The fund is in memory of his wife Hilda, who had special interest in children and music. She was especially fond of the Penn Music Library; the fund is a wonderful tribute to that interest.
