Eri is responsible for performing acquisitions and cataloging functions for Japanese and Korean resources, with a strong emphasis on print materials.

Before moving to Penn Libraries' Area Studies Technical Services, Eri served as the Administrative and Reprographic Services Coordinator for the Kislak Center. Born in Hiroshima, Japan, she remains connected to Japanese culture through her interests in traditional Japanese arts and crafts and in vintage Japanese books and periodicals. She is currently working towards a graduate degree at Penn, concentrating on History of Japanese art and books.

Eri holds a BA in American Studies from Temple University, and a MSLS from Clarion University.
