Erica leads the Global Studies Technical Services department in acquisition, cataloging, and processing of materials in non-Western languages and in non-Latin scripts from suppliers across the world. They provide cultural insight and linguistic expertise to enrich the descriptions of the Penn Libraries’ resources and to facilitate access to our collections for global users.

Erica came to Penn as the Chinese Library Specialist and was responsible for performing acquisitions and cataloging functions for Chinese language resources, with an emphasis on print materials acquired from mainland China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. Her previous library experience includes working as a Librarian-Cataloger for St. Louis County Library, and as a Cataloging Specialist/Archives Specialist for the Donohue Group, where she worked on various cataloging projects for institutions such as the MIT Libraries, Yale Mudd Library, Harvard Libraries, MoMA, and others.

She has an MLIS from McGill University and is currently working on her MLA at Penn.
