Kate coordinates the Libraries' user-facing instruction for Canvas and related tools. She also leads instructional sessions, supports users, and works with vendors to provide solutions. In addition, she collaborates with colleagues across campus on projects related to educational technology and instructional design.

Prior to working at the University of Pennsylvania, Kate worked as a school librarian in Upper Darby, PA, and Bensalem, PA. She's always been fascinated by the ways that educators utilize technology to engage students.

Kate holds a master's degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a bachelor's degree in English with minors in Information Technology and Psychology from Immaculata University.
