Katie Brady leads the team responsible for acquiring and providing access to e-resources & serials.  Katie interacts with a wide range of local, national, and international consortia, vendors, publishers, and technology companies that intersect with the e-resources lifecycle. She's conversant in Alma, Summon, ezproxy, and Penn Libraries' own locally grown e-resource management tools.

Katie started working at the Penn Libraries HR Office in 1998 before starting her MLIS at Drexel. Concurrent with completing her degree and holding a graduate assistantship at the Drexel University Libraries, she interned in the Van Pelt Reference department and then the IPC.  She spent her early professional career away from Penn, acquiring, licensing, and managing e-resources at the Drexel University Library, Temple University Libraries, and the Columbia University Libraries, before returning to the Penn Libraries in 2006.  

Katie holds an MS in Library and Information Science from Drexel University and a BA in English from Vassar College.
