As the Director of Research Data and Digital Scholarship (RDDS), Lynda provides guidance and supervision for library professionals in digital humanities, digital scholarship, and research data management and services. She is responsible for the overall vision, planning, development, advancement, and assessment of research data and digital scholarship at the Penn Libraries.

Prior to her current role, Lynda was the Head of Research Data Services in RDDS at Penn. She was the Senior Data Librarian at the Cornell Institute for Social and Economic Research (now the Cornell Center for Social Sciences). At Cornell, she managed the CISER Data and Reproduction Archive, provided project support for Freedom on the Move. Before that, she was the Research Data Services Coordinator and Assistant Director of International & Global Studies at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. 

She holds a PhD in American History from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, an MA in Political Science from University of Wisconsin-Madison, and an MLIS from UNCG.
