Adobe Illustrator for Beginners

Creative and visually striking graphics elevate a researcher’s communication across multiple settings, from informal lab meetings, conference posters and talks, and ultimately publications. A useful creative tool to generate graphics is the software Adobe Illustrator.

Adobe Illustrator for beginners text and a pencil

The purpose of this beginner workshop is to cover the basics of Adobe Illustrator while creating an illustration. Attendees will learn about vector vs. raster graphics, user interface, color modes, creating and manipulating basic shapes, and more.
