This adhesive binding method uses single-sided folios instead of sewn signatures, eliminating the need for complex imposition when adding content. We will finish the binding with a quarter cloth hardcover and a breakaway spine. The workshop is led by Erica Honson, studio coordinator for Common Press.
Use it as a notebook or sketchbook, a gift, or a model for additional handmade books.
All supplies provided freely.
No prior bookbinding experience necessary; all types welcome!
