Coffee with a Codex: Genealogy

An informal lunch or coffee time to meet virtually with Kislak curators and talk about one of the manuscripts from Penn's collections. Each week we'll feature a different manuscript and the expertise of one of our curators. Everyone is welcome to attend.

On October 30, Curator Dot Porter brought out LJS 266, a collection of genealogical and chronicle material in Middle French, including Biblical genealogy from Adam to Jesus and the apostles, the Trojan War, and the Holy Roman Emperors. It was written in France between 1440 and 1460. (OPenn, BiblioPhilly, Internet Archive, CWAC Recording)
