Coffee with a Codex: Illuminated missal

An informal lunch or coffee time to meet virtually with Kislak curators and talk about one of the manuscripts from Penn's collections. Each week we'll feature a different manuscript and the expertise of one of our curators. Everyone is welcome to attend.

On January 16, curator Dot Porter brought out Ms. Codex 2076, an illuminated missal written and decorated in Italy, probably between 1456 and 1482. It includes 40 historiated initials and 13th century leaves in the binding. (OPenn, BiblioPhilly, CWAC Recording)
