Coffee with a Codex: Latin Dictionary of Grammar

An informal lunch or coffee time to meet virtually with Kislak curators and talk about one of the manuscripts from Penn's collections. Each week we'll feature a different manuscript and the expertise of one of our curators. Everyone is welcome to attend.

On October 17, Curator Dot Porter brought out Ms. Codex 722, a 14th century French dictionary of grammatical forms and definitions of theological, religious, and secular terms, arranged alphabetically; it includes Latinized Hebrew words and gives equivalents in Old French in various instances. (OPenn, BiblioPhilly, CWAC Recording)
