Coffee with a Codex: Persian Romance

An informal lunch or coffee time to meet virtually with Kislak curators and talk about one of the manuscripts from Penn's collections. Each week we'll feature a different manuscript and the expertise of one of our curators. Everyone is welcome to attend.

On May 29, guest host Neha Tiwari, PhD student in South Asia Studies, presented LJS 422, a 16th-century copy in Persian of a 12th-century romance about the life of Bahrām Gūr, a 5th-century king of Iran. Neha was joined by Dr. Emily Steiner, Professor of English. (OPenn, Internet Archive, CWAC Recording)
