For Coffee With a Codex on July 17, Dot Porter will bring out a 15th century Italian manuscript of treatise De spiritu et anima, erroneously attributed to St. Augustine (actually written by Alcherus of Clairvaux).

An informal lunch or coffee time to meet virtually with Kislak curators and talk about one of the manuscripts from Penn's collections. Each week we'll feature a different manuscript and the expertise of one of our curators. Everyone is welcome to attend.

On July 17, Curator Dot Porter will bring out Ms. Codex 17, the text of treatise De spiritu et anima, erroneously attributed to St. Augustine (actually written by Alcherus of Clairvaux). Written in Italy inĀ 1463.
