Coffee with a Codex: Theology

An informal lunch or coffee time to meet virtually with Kislak curators and talk about one of the manuscripts from Penn's collections. Each week we'll feature a different manuscript and the expertise of one of our curators. Everyone is welcome to attend.

On April 27 Kathryn Phipps, Ph.D. Candidate in Hispanic Studies, will bring out Ms. Coll. 728, folder 23, a highly calligraphic document (Escrito curioso) consisting of a short theological treatise in Spanish followed by religiously themed illustrations, acrostics, poems, odes, and elegies, all in Latin.
