Coffee with a Codex: The Voynich Manuscript (Facsimile)

An informal lunch or coffee time to meet virtually with Kislak curators and talk about one of the manuscripts from Penn's collections. Each week we'll feature a different manuscript and the expertise of one of our curators. Everyone is welcome to attend.

On August 14, Curator Dot Porter brought out a facsimile of Beinecke Library MS 408, aka The Voynich Manuscript. This is a realistic facsimile that looks exactly like the real thing! She was joined by Lisa Fagin Davis, who is the world’s expert on the Voynich as a physical object. A special one hour event. (Digitized manuscript, Book about the Voynich Manuscript, Voynich Website, Voynich forum, CWAC Recording)
