Coffee with a Codex: The Book of Esther

An informal lunch or coffee time to meet virtually with Kislak curators and talk about one of the manuscripts from Penn's collections. Each week we'll feature a different manuscript and the expertise of one of our curators. Everyone is welcome to attend.

On September 14, Curator Dot Porter brought out LJS 41, the Book of Esther written on 3 gatherings removed from a miscellany. The first leaf of the first gathering begins with the last 7 verses of the Book of Lamentations, the work that preceded the Book of Esther in the miscellany. (OPenn, BiblioPhilly, CWAC recording)
