Coffee with a Codex: Cosmology & Astronomy

An informal lunch or coffee time to meet virtually with Kislak curators and talk about one of the manuscripts from Penn's collections. Each week we'll feature a different manuscript and the expertise of one of our curators.

On June 1 (rescheduled from April 20), Curator Dot Porter brought out Ms. Codex 216, a collection of three scientific works, nearly contemporary with the life of the author: one work on cosmology and astronomy, one on arithmetic, and one on the division of time according to the movements of the sun and moon.(OPenn, BiblioPhilly, CWAC Recording)
