Library services during winter break: Van Pelt-Dietrich Library Center will be closed on 12/25 and on 1/1-1/2, and will be open all other weekdays between 12/25 and 1/1. Coffee with a Codex: Reconstructed book of hours

An informal lunch or coffee time to meet virtually with Kislak curators and talk about one of the manuscripts from Penn's collections. Each week we'll feature a different manuscript and the expertise of one of our curators. 

On July 27, Curator Dot Porter brought out Ms. Codex 1869, a 15th century book of hours that was damaged, then reconstructed in the late 19th century. (OPenn, BiblioPhilly)
