Studio Use Training: Letterpress Printing
Learn and practice the basics of letterpress printing and typesetting. You will use the Common Press collection of metal and wood typefaces to create a collaborative print. Then, learn the operation of the Vandercook printing press while printing a small edition. This orientation is required as a prerequisite for working on independent projects at Common Press and can be taken multiple times. No experience necessary, all types welcome.
