Copyright Basics

With the beginning of a new academic year, it is a good time to review the basics of U.S. copyright law. In this workshop, copyright advisor Stephen Wolfson will go over the fundamentals of copyright law, including how to “get a copyright” in a creative work, what copyright gives to authors, when copyright expires, how fair use works, and more. He will also try to answer whatever questions you have about copyright law.
