Georeferencing Scanned Maps in QGIS

Georeferencing is the process of assigning spatial coordinates to an image or map, allowing it to be accurately positioned on the Earth's surface. In this workshop, you will learn the basics of georeferencing and how to use QGIS, a free and open-source GIS software, to georeference scanned maps.
