Recently, many have raised questions about how these licenses apply to generative AI and whether a license prohibiting commercial use will prevent developers from using a work to train an AI model. In this session, copyright advisor Stephen Wolfson will lead a discussion exploring the fundamentals of Creative Commons licenses, their functionality, and how they interact with generative AI. We’ll also discuss any questions you may have on topics such as copyright, open access, open licenses, and Creative Commons licenses.

This event is both in-person and online. Register to receive the zoom link.
