Bring your questions and get practical ideas for organizing your academic life, from digital tools and organization apps to analogue systems like pocket folders, planners, and other hands-on tools available through the Educational Commons Maker Space.

WIC will also provide a supportive space to study, work, and ask questions about developing a study schedule, creating sustainable routines, and exploring tech-free strategies for staying focused.

Drop in for as much or as little of the session as you'd like. Light snacks will be provided!

By the end of the session, students will be able to:

  • Identify organizational strategies and tools that align with their individual needs and preferences.
  • Explore digital organization tools, including apps and other technologies that can support planning and managing academic responsibilities.
  • Create or adapt an analogue organizational system using tools such as pocket folders, planners, and other materials.
  • Develop strategies for creating a realistic and sustainable study schedule.
  • Evaluate their current study environment and identify changes that may support focus and productivity.
  • Explore technology-free study strategies and consider when limiting digital distractions may enhance concentration.
  • Identify campus resources and sources of support for developing effective academic habits and routines.
