This workshop is great for anyone who wants to explore and use open-source geospatial data for academic, professional, or personal interests. Participants will learn about resources like OpenStreetMap (OSM), Overture Maps, and datasets from city and state open data portals such as OpenDataPhilly. The workshop will explain how to access, analyze, and use these tools for mapping, spatial analysis, and decision-making.
This is a beginner-friendly, hands-on workshop, for which no prior knowledge is required to attend. Bringing your own laptop is highly recommended so you can follow along at your own pace!
