Develop an understanding of the limitations of using AI when doing research; learn how to utilize AI outputs correctly; and evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, validity, relevance to your research topic. Learn to apply effective search strategies to any discovery platform including AI. Discussion will cover:
- Your definitions for and use of AI (shared anonymously)
- Ethics of AI and environmental impact of AI
- Question to ask as you determine the accuracy of AI
- Evaluating your results
- When is it most effective to use AI - types of questions/tasks that work and don’t work in AI
- The good and the bad of AI
