Develop an understanding of the limitations of using AI when doing research; learn how to utilize AI outputs correctly; and evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, validity, relevance to your research topic. Learn to apply effective search strategies to any discovery platform including AI. Discussion will cover:

  • Your definitions for and use of AI (shared anonymously)
  • Ethics of AI and environmental impact of AI
  • Question to ask as you determine the accuracy  of AI
  • Evaluating your results
  • When is it most effective to use AI - types of questions/tasks that work and don’t work in AI
  • The good and the bad of AI
