A printing plate

We'll demonstrate methods of making printing plates from computer files. This allows for letterpress print applications for a range of computer-based fonts, line art, and logos. We'll talk about which kinds of computer files work best and how to generate these files. We'll provide information about makers of these plates, including Education Commons (where you can use these files to make rubber stamps!) and Boxcar Press.

Instructor Jessica Peterson is director at Common Press.

No prior experience necessary.

Registration is required. There are no seats available but a waiting list is available.
