Fiber on drop spindles

The workshop will overview carding fleece by hand and using a drum carder. The group will blend different colors of fleece to make a unique bat to divide up and spin. Participation in this workshop includes a 3D printed Turkish drop spindle and fiber to spin. Attendees are invited to weave using their handspun yarn in the next Materials Library workshop, Weaving Yarn on a Frame Loom, on November 1. Attendance to both workshops is not required, but highly encouraged.
