This workshop will introduce practices that will help you successfully organize digital files in an intuitive and meaningful way without requiring the adoption of a new tool. Topics include creating file names, developing a meaningful file structure, documenting where you put files (such as through READMEs), and building backups into your workflow. Attendees will leave with directly applicable skills and materials that can be applied to research, courses, and personal life.
This workshop is part of a series of publishing workshops hosted by the Libraries in collaboration with the Grad Center at Penn.
