Woodlands Walk with Nurses Tour

Celebrate Nurses Week with the Barbara Bates Center for the Study of the History of Nursing, Penn Libraries, and The Woodlands. Join us for a walking tour through its hauntingly beautiful grounds to explore the legacies of Penn-affiliated nurses and their impact on the field. Following the tour, enjoy a small reception in the historic 18th-century Hamilton Mansion.

Located less than a mile from the Bates Center and Fagin Hall, The Woodlands is the final resting place of some of Philadelphia’s most influential nurses and public health figures. Afterwards, participants are invited to a small reception.

Registration is required and space is limited.
