Penn in the Field: Student Fieldwork Photography
Experience fieldwork and research travel of current undergraduate and graduate students as documented through their own lenses.
Penn students conducted fieldwork and research in countries spanning five continents and their photographs this year reflect themes of ecology, architecture, learning, and discovery.
Contributing student photographers are from the University of Pennsylvania's departments of Anthropology, Art and Archaeology of the Mediterranean World, Classics/Ancient History, East Asian Languages and Civilizations, and History of Art: Marley Abrams, Tayeba Batool, Aliyah Bixby-Driesen, Grant Bruner, Kristina Donnally, Arielle Hardy, Bryce Heatherly, Mackenzie Hill, Eric Hubbard, Marisa Kelath, Anna Luurtsema, Abhi Sanghani, Molly Schaub, Ann Stettler, Mark Van Horn, Anthony Vargas, and Helen Wong.
Top-place entries, by Anna Luurtsema, Mackenzie Hill, and Bryce Heatherly, were selected by students, faculty, and Penn Museum staff and visitors.
