Clinically Useful Journals list
Did you know? A Medical Library Association (MLA) committee recently conducted an in-depth analysis of the National Library of Medicine’s (NLM) PubMed Core Clinical Journal list, last updated more than 50 years ago. The renamed Clinically Useful Journals list includes 241 titles covering 80 subjects.
Of note is that the MLA committee took an evidence-based approach, analyzing journal usage at 800+ US and Canadian hospitals and medical facilities. They used patient-driven indicators to designate subjects and then usage to select the journals.
