VisualDx now available!
Penn Libraries is excited to announce the addition of VisualDX to our collection. VisualDx is a diagnostic clinical decision support system designed to enhance diagnostic accuracy, aid therapeutic decisions, and improve patient safety.

Penn Libraries is excited to announce the addition of VisualDX to our collection. VisualDx is a diagnostic clinical decision support system designed to enhance diagnostic accuracy, aid therapeutic decisions, and improve patient safety. Spanning over 3,000 diseases and including 40,000+ images across all skin types, ages, and variations of disease presentation, clinicians can quickly build a custom differential diagnosis across general medicine or use the powerful search function to access patient-specific clinical information. VisualDx’s extensive repository of high-quality medical images is also the largest atlas for skin of color.
VisualDx conveniently links out to UptoDate and Pubmed for further information for each disease/condition record.
Access can be through the web or via a mobile app on your smartphone or tablet. Here is how you can set up your mobile access:
- Visit VisualDx Create a Personal Account and fill out the information to create a personal login account.
- For mobile: search VisualDx in either the App Store or Google Play.
- Download to your mobile device and enter the username and password you created in Step #2.
