AI-Assisted Screener
What it can do: Generate screening criteria based on criteria you describe naturally (rather than from lists and hierarchies).
How to find it: From the main menu, select Labs. (If you don’t see Labs, select Edit and add Labs.) Choose AI-Assisted Screener.
Chart Explainer
What it can do: Generate explanations for stock performance based on news events.
How to find it: From any company profile, use left-hand navigation to select Profile > Stock Chart. Use the Chart Explainer button. Choose a date range to explain.
ChatIQ
What it can do: Perform company analysis or search the system help via chat. When exploring company analysis, ChatIQ references sources for verification and further research.
How to find it: From the main menu, select Apps & Links > ChatIQ. For answers about the system without company analysis, start your chat with @Help.
Document Intelligence
What it does:
- Aggregate most-used phrases in earnings calls by semantic similarity. See trends around mentions over time. Generate earnings call summaries and sentiment scores.
- Interrogate documents via chat.
- Enhance interactions with PDF tables. You can export figures from tables to Excel. In filings, you can view similar tables from prior filings for context across time.
How to find it: From the main menu, select Documents. Set up a screen and open any filing or earnings call transcript. Hover over a table, choose Key phrases, or open the right-hand menu for more tools.
IQ Newsletters
What it can do: Generate news recaps based on your criteria, as often as you choose. You can subscribe to recaps by region and time of day.
How to find it: From the main menu, select News > IQ Newsletters.
Kensho Scribe/Extract/NERD
What it can do: Interface with Kensho to automate audio transcription (Scribe), PDF content extraction (Extract), or named entity recognition within documents (NERD).
How to find it: From the main menu, select Labs. (If you don’t see Labs, select Edit and add Labs.) Choose Kensho Scribe, Kensho Extract, or Kensho NERD.
News Sentiment
What it can do: Generate sentiment ratings for individual news articles, or chart sentiment across articles over time.
How to find it: From the main menu, select Labs. (If you don’t see Labs, select Edit and add Labs.) Choose News Sentiment.
Transcripts Trending Topics
What it can do: Index terms and phrases from earnings calls and chart their frequency over time.
How to find it: From the main menu, select Labs. (If you don’t see Labs, select Edit and add Labs.) Choose Transcripts Trending Topics.
