
Alyssa Hogan
As Web & Media Specialist for the University Archives & Records Center (UARC) since 2012, Alyssa is responsible for the Archives' online presence, including maintaining its websites, Digital Image Collection, and social media, along with high resolution scanning and photography of materials within its collections. She designed and developed the current websites of the University Archives & Records Center and the West Philadelphia Community History Center, and with the Archives' recent integration into the Penn Libraries, Alyssa has been facilitating the incorporation of its digital identity into that of the Libraries, planning migrations to Library platforms where appropriate, and assisting with a variety of web-based projects for the Kislak Center.
Alyssa served as a co-organizer of WordCamp US, the largest WordPress conference in North America, in 2021, and of WordCamp Philly in 2019 and 2020.
She holds a BFA in Photography & Imaging from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, a BS in Computer Science from CUNY Brooklyn College, and an MA in Art Education from NYU’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development.
