Brian Hogan

In his role as Graphic Designer and Photographer, Brian oversees the design of print and digital collateral for the Strategic Communications team. He co-curates a growing digital collection of visual assets, producing photographs and designing visual elements to enrich this collection. Brian also manages the Libraries’ visual identity.

Brian comes to Penn Libraries with over 20 years of professional experience in print layout design, corporate identity and logos, website design, advertising, collateral materials, packaging, point of sale, presentations, photography, photo retouching, and illustration.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design from Drexel University and has received numerous awards, including a Philadelphia ADDY, four awards from the Pennsylvania Newspaper Association, five Association of Alternative Newsweekly Awards, and an award from the Society of Professional Journalists.
