Dorothy Espalto

Dorothy manages ScholarlyCommons, the University of Pennsylvania's institutional repository. She provides training and support to ScholarlyCommons users across campus and works together with library and campus partners to highlight the benefits of making scholarship at Penn openly available.

Dorothy has broad library experience, primarily working in areas focused on public service, student engagement, and digital media and design. She has led workshops on visual design and communication and has played a leading role in many of the library's key outreach initiatives and events, including the Penn Libraries Showcase, part of the University's New Student Orientation program.
