As Assistant Director for STEM Libraries and Engineering Librarian, Douglas serves as the coordinator of collection development for Physical Sciences and for public services across the Penn Science Libraries. His primary collection responsibilities are for Engineering and Computer Science.

Prior to his arrival at Penn in 2007, Douglas held positions as an Engineering Librarian at the United States Naval Academy, Princeton University, and the University of New Orleans. Douglas earned a BA in History from the University of Dayton, and an MS in Library Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
