John provides operational support to the Advancement team as they seek to build relationships with friends and supporters of the Penn Libraries with a special focus on the Penn Libraries Fund and advancement events.

Before coming to the Libraries, John worked as a math teacher in the School District of Philadelphia and as an English teacher in Seoul, South Korea. Prior to his work in education, John was the Assistant Director, Annual Giving and Advancement Services at Penn Vet.

John has a bachelor’s degree in theatre arts from the University of Pennsylvania and a master’s of arts in teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education.
