Library services during winter break: Van Pelt-Dietrich Library Center will be closed on 12/25 and on 1/1-1/2, and will be open all other weekdays between 12/25 and 1/1. Kristina (Kristy) McShea provides research, instruction, and consultation services to hospital and university-based teams conducting systematic reviews, scoping reviews and other types of evidence synthesis. She is also a Penn Libraries liaison to clinical staff and faculty at Penn Medicine. 

Prior to joining Penn Libraries, Kristy was senior medical librarian at ECRI, a non-profit patient-safety organization. In this role, Kristy supported evidence synthesis projects for organizations such as the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), U.S. Department of Veteran's Affairs, and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS). Kristy also worked closely with value analysis teams and third-party payers, providing evidence to support hospital purchases and coverage decisions. 

Kristy holds a BA in political science from Muhlenberg College and a Masters in Library and Information Science from Drexel University.
